Taxi strike: Unions refuse to go to Matignon – Le Figaro

o Multiple disturbances across France

At the Paris Roissy airport, access to the three terminals (2E, 2F and 2D) were blocked and disrupted traffic , as in many areas of Paris. Traffic also disrupted in Marseille and from its airport. For Gilles Alonso, the 13 Alliance Taxi union, “when one performs any social care, it’s easy to shop at 3 or 4 euros …”.


o Bernard Cazeneuve calls for ban of UberPOP

The interior minister, who appealed for calm, asked the Paris police prefect to make an order prohibiting the activity ‘UberPop. Bernard Cazeneuve also asked all prefects to seize the prosecutors that they apply the “strongest” on infringements of the social rules and fiscal observed on the part of American society with Uber UberPOP .

Dissatisfied by Bernard Cazeneuve proposal to ban the activity of UberPop, the Inter took the decision “unanimously”. The unions, which were to be received by four ministers are reluctant to respond favorably to the invitation of Premier services. They claim the outright disabling the application, deemed illegal by the government.
